I haven't been here in a while, have I? Well, I now shall state my quest. This is a record of my sojourn into art school, as well as updating the nameless, silent, and faceless on the progress of my foray into the world of comic book creation. I have three comics I am currently writing out - meaning, I'm setting up outlines, scenes, dramatis personae, scrawlings of logistical stuff. As that is happening, I am trying to render the intricate character and setting designs I have in my head onto paper. This is harder than it may sound, but, of course, most comic artists are better renderers than I. These three are as follows: Lancer, Mirrors, and Lilithborn. They all have very different plots and genres, but they coexist in the same wide Universe, which will become apparent when all the kinks are worked out. Another is being finalized internally - which basically means I have to think up what the hell rest is happening in the plot. That would be Bloodstone, which occurs in the same time, but different hemisphere of the "earth" as Lancer. Of course, there are about five or so (I think) others I plan to complete - three of those being the Half Trilogy, the standalone Feather Collar, and the origin story Scribe. It may seem like I'm getting ahead of myself but all of these stories have gone through 7 or so years of completely internal work and thought, so all I need to do is express them visually and the rest will follow.
On the other side of this record, I am going to Mass Art this fall as a transfer sophomore, in exactly three weeks. My artwork and perhaps some animation I produce will also be archived here. This is very important for me to upkeep so whoever sees this REMIND ME WHEN I FORGET TO UPDATE! Thanks in advance!
